The Salesforce.org branch of Salesforce is always looking for ways to give back. As part of its commitment, 50,000 hours of UK employees time has been committed to helping local communities in the last 12 months.
Over the years, over 166,000 hours have been volunteered to help local projects in the UK, including Apps for Good, STEMettes and School 21. 2,900 British non-profits use Salesforce for free or a at a discounted rate, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Unseen.
Financially, more than $1.5 million in grants have been donated to the UK community, with a focus on workforce development. Most recently, Salesforce has supported The Duke of York Inspiring Digital Enterprise Awards to develop and expand it’s digital learning platform with strategic grants, helping young people with free online learning designed to boost future employability and current skill bases.
Over 360,000 digital badges have been completed by more than 60,000 learners worldwide since 2017.
