National Disability Authority
The National Disability Authority (NDA) was established on the 12th of June 2000 as an independent statutory body. NDA plays a crucial role in providing information and advice to the Government on policy and practices relevant to the lives of persons with disabilities. Additionally, NDA assists the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth in coordinating disability policy and promoting Universal Design through its Centre for Excellence in Universal Design.
